Scenes From the Region: Most of these photos were taken west of the Clayton Lake area out towards the St. John River. Roads traveled were the Churchill Dam Rd. to the American Realty Road (Daaquam), Ross Mtn. Road by Chemquasabamticook Lake, Poulin Road ( somewhere out there, we found Moody Bridge Campground)... Thibodeau Rd., 17 Mile Rd. and crossed the Chemquasabamticook River. We camped at the Moody Bridge Campground near the county lines of Somerset/Aroostook. We visited old campgrounds like Red Pine Grove Campground and Leadbetter. A very beautiful and wild area!
